Hursley 10k and Big10k galleries live

Two more race galleries have been put online for previewing and ordering to keep your memories safe:

 Hursley 10k

Both galleries just need your race number to find your pictures simply and quickly. For the Hursley Junior Fun run - I'm assured you will be browsing through the folder for their races - as they didn't have race numbers. Just scroll down the event gallery page and click through the folders to preview them.

Both races were well attended on Sunday and the weather held up a bit of sun too...

At Hursley there was the fun of the air ambulance making a visit on the field, as well as one of the most challenging off road races in the calendar - even the winner Ant Gritton took a head over heals on his way to winning - check his knee...

The children had a great time finding out about the Air Ambulance helicopter

A busy start with chip timing from Full on Sports

Part way round, and then he forgot.

Ant Gritton, missing out his usual swim and bike decided to make it harder by falling over, but still won in 36 minutes
The very scenic landscape at the finish run-in (on wideangle)
A very well attended fun run - made for a scenic sea of yellow
Sue Sleath was the first Female home in 44 minutes
Well done to everyone and the team at Hursley who put the race together to raise funds for the School which acts as the HQ for the race. With one off access to the grounds for the race it's certainly unique and represents a real challenge at the start of the autumn running season.

Compared to the off road rough and tumble of the hills at Hursley was the smooth rolling tarmac of Bexhill and the view from the top of Galley Hill - which is considerably better than the view at the finish back into the sun - so the decision was made to go for it !

Good to see the regulars shaping up

a nice seafront stroll, before the hill

It's Sunday, so it must be fun !

David Bradford from Lewes AC won in 34 minutes

Taking in the view on the way up the Galley Hill

And coming down Galley hill is just that bit easier than going up !
Well done to everyone at Team Lifestyle for another great race, and for their consistently good weather so far this year at all their races !

Your Next race - next sunday:

We have our busiest day of the year next sunday with 5 events and 10 photographers working hard to bring you your race memories : Rowers revenge, Basingstoke Half Marathon, Wimbledon 10k, the Sevenoaks Junior Aquathlon and the Reading O2O 10k.

The only one we know taking entries on the day is Reading, everything else is closed or sold out !

So go here to read all about it and register: http://bit.ly/PP-Reading-O2O-10k
With phenomenally easy access via the M4 motorway I would have thought many of you south of Bedford could get to this one for a 9am start without too many problems !

Until next time then - I'll be seeing you at the Basingstoke Half with our Work experience student for the week.

 Anthony
